INSTALLING A NEW GYM ZONE FOR THE ABERDEEN SPORTS VILLAGE

Aberdeen Sports Village is the premier sport and exercise facility in Scotland and provides world class opportunities for everyone in the community. It offers fantastic gym facilities including athletics, football, swimming, hockey, squash, martial arts and boxing. We recently carried out an installation service at the Aberdeen Sports Village . Our team was chosen to be trained to install the first Sony Advagym on the Precor top-range gym equipment.

Objective
 The main objective for this project was to create an open exercise space, provide high-quality, top of the range gym equipment and digitalise the workout experience by introducing a Sony Advagym technology on the exercise units. Precor top-range gym machines are made compatible with the Advagym smart technology and offer real time workout tracking solutions. Members using Advagym activate it by touching their phone on a sensor ‘puck’ on the equipment to start tracking their workout in real time. The system uses sensors on strength machines to record reps and sets, while in free weight areas users select from a list of exercises or create their own. Advagym then uploads all stats automatically onto the app.  

Installation
 Our specialist team installed Sony Advagym on each of the Precor units and exercise machines. Aberdeen sports village is now delivering more satisfying gym experiences to its members in local community.
