FitKit work with many of the fitness industry’s leading fitness equipment suppliers such as Life Fitness, Precor, Matrix, NordicTrack, and Cybex, and some of the biggest health club chains in the UK such as David Lloyds, DW Sports, Pure Gym, The Gym Group and Nuffield Health carrying out all manners of fitness equipment related projects such as installs, extractions, relocations, and servicing. We are a name that these leading companies turn to when they require complicated projects completed on time.
FitKit began its journey in 2007, thanks to a university student becoming co-owner of a Somerset gym. Filled with outdated equipment, it was in desperate need of refurbishment, without room in the budget for any such improvements. Instead of splurging on new machines, he turned to a handful of used equipment traders, but due to bad experiences, began sourcing his equipment directly and selling the surplus to other gym owners. After his gym was complete, he continued buying and selling used equipment, and following years of rapid expansion branded the business FitKit in 2011.
Since its humble start, FitKit has evolved from one man operating an old cow shed full of gym equipment to a team of 40 professionals, based in two warehouses totaling over 70,000 sq. ft. We are now one of the UK’s leading companies in the fitness industry and provide new and used equipment belonging to the biggest brands to clientele across the UK, Europe, and the Middle East.
Since 2012, we have continued to grow and have expanded our services to provide a one-stop shop for all your fitness needs. In addition to our new and used equipment sales, we also offer servicing and repair work; installation, relocation, and storage services; consultations and planning advice; and can purchase and remove your old equipment. We are the preferred contractors for the UK’s biggest brands and have installed and serviced equipment on behalf of Life Fitness, Matrix, and Precor for chains such as Puregym and Nuffield, Diamond resorts, Hilton hotels, Bath university, and highly renowned leisure company David Lloyds.
Our number one goal here at FitKit is to sell our equipment at competitive prices. We want to help realise an owner’s dream of starting a private gym without charging unaffordable prices for equipment. We want to give people the choice to have a commercial fitness machine in their home that will last them a long time without asking for the high retail prices so many companies do.
At FitKit, we provide a transparent and fair service. Your trust is paramount to us, and any potential customers are welcome to request more information or images of products or even visit us to view and check equipment. We never sell a product that isn’t a good match for a customer for the sake of profit and offer impartial and honest advice to help you get the best deal possible.
