Queen Mother Sports Centre
Installation at Queen Mother Sports Centre
Project Complete. Our team delivered and installed a fully refreshed fitness suite at the Queen Mother Sports Centre, creating a dynamic and well-balanced training space designed to meet the demands of a diverse user base.
The upgraded facility features an extensive Life Fitness cardio selection, comprising 13 Integrity+ treadmills, 3 upright bikes, 2 recumbent bikes, 9 cross trainers, and 3 PowerMills, offering reliable, intuitive cardiovascular training for both beginners and experienced users.
Strength provision has been carefully planned to maximise usability and progression, combining a broad Insignia selectorised range with Life Fitness and Hammer Strength plate-loaded equipment. The selectorised line includes abdominal, arc leg press, assisted dip/chin, biceps curl (dependent), dual hip abductor/adductor units, lateral raise, leg extension, seated leg curl, triceps extension, and two pec fly/rear delt machines, supporting structured and accessible strength training. Plate-loaded highlights include incline press, pulldown, row, shoulder press, and two linear leg presses, delivering progressive resistance for more advanced training.
The free weights and functional areas are anchored by 11 multi-adjustable benches, Olympic flat and incline benches, an adjustable decline bench, leg raise/dip/chin station, dedicated weight storage, and three Cable Motion Dual Adjustable Pulley units. Performance training is further enhanced with three Hammer Strength Vertical Smith Machines, a standing calf machine, a seated arm curl, and an HD Elite half rack system with integrated accessories, creating a flexible and efficient strength zone.
Conditioning and athletic training are completed with two Concept2 SkiErgs, each fitted with floor stands and accessories, rounding out a purposeful and adaptable training environment.
We’re proud of our team’s work at the Queen Mother Sports Centre, delivering a thoughtfully equipped facility built to support longevity, accessibility, and performance.
